According to the Action plan under the new project on preventionof coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan’s (RCST)responsible staff and volunteers conducting information sessions on preventionof coronavirus in 32 target cities and districts of the Sugd, GBAO, Khatlonregions and Districts of republican subordination. 
In April 30th was conducted such information session in Rasht district with participation of 20 chosen volunteers from different village council of Rasht district and the representative of Healthy Life Style Centre ofthe Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population on COVID-19 prevention.
Session was conducted by Aminzoda Nodir, specialists of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan and the director of Healthy Life Style Centre in Rasht district.
All new 20 chosen volunteers of the branch of Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan in Rasht district obtained necessary knowledge on prevention of coronavirus. These trained volunteers will be inform the schoolchildren and population of Rasht valley in target communities.
Aminzoda Nodir noted that, according to the Action plan each trained volunteer would be inform 16-community population and 10 schoolchildren in one day. These information sessions should be conducted by each volunteerwithin 70 days with coverage of 1820 person (700 schoolchildren and 1120 community population).
It should be noted, that Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan with support of USAID and IFRC is organizing information sessions on preventionof coronavirus (COVID-19) in 32 target areas of Tajikistanthrough its 640-trained volunteers within 70 days. In total these new 640 trained volunteers will be cover 1 164 800 people.
