From December 1 to 5, 2019, Aminzoda Nodir, Information and International Humanitarian Program Coordinator, will bring together the Tajik Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to monitor the program and increase public awareness of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. During her visit, Aminzoda Nodir visited Rasht, Tojikobod, Lakhsh and Nurobod districts and met with activists, volunteers of the RCST units in these districts, representatives of health and social protection departments, labor, education, students and students of educational institutions. held speeches. At these meetings, presentations on the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and the activities of the RCST in the Republic of Tajikistan were made with the broadcast of documentaries.
The meeting was attended by more than 150 people in the Medical College of Rasht district, more than 120 people in the Technical Vocational Institution under the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tojikobod district, 80 people in the Medical College of Lakhsh district and more than 160 people in general education institution №1 in Nurobod district. and a total of 510 people participated.
It should be noted that during the meetings the program coordinator in the Rasht Valley and the executive secretaries of the RCST units in these districts took part.
At the beginning of each meeting, a special simplified presentation on selected topics was made by the Information and International Humanitarian Law Coordinator to improve the knowledge and skills of the participants. Then questions and answers were asked. In a short time, the participants had interesting discussions on many issues of the day. At the end of the event, comments, suggestions and participants, volunteers were registered by the coordinator, and the necessary measures will be taken to implement them.
It should be noted that the organization of such events will expand the knowledge and skills of volunteers and members of the RCST, will contribute to the motivation of volunteers and increase their number.
At the end of the event, participants expressed satisfaction and requested that more such meetings be organized for them so that they could learn more about the activities of the RCST and its partners.
