The advantage of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan in relation to other civil society organizations is that it has a rich working experience (since 1927) and powerful modern structures. It has its branches in all districts, cities, regions and provinces. Primary organizations in the area of residence, employment and education have been established.
The Department for International Development and Cooperation has done significant work. Since 2007 the RCST has moved to the new Charter. The leadership structure has been separated from the executive. The RCST internal documents were regulated, regulating sectoral and local activities. With the support of four partners, 4 local and 29 local sectors acquired an administration building. Working conditions have been set up for all territorial and local sectors. The Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan unites 2 provincial, 2 regional, 16 urban, and 49 district. Comprehensive training in the implementation of social development programs, providing a decent standard of living, high civic education with patriotic challenges and initiatives, expressing our good thoughts and actions in the progress of our society, we well realize that the volunteer, member and staff of the RCT has a greater responsibility.
The RCST aims to promote greater civil society, compliance with international standards, in particular the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Public Associations”, “On Charity”, “On Use and Protection of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.” in the Republic of Tajikistan”, “On the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan ”and other instructions of the Government of Tajikistan.
