On November 15, 2019, the Tajik Red Crescent Society (TRCS) organized a charity event dedicated to the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to support the needy in 5 orphanages in Dushanbe, including orphanages №1 of the Dushanbe Health Department, boarding schools №1, №2 , №3 and №4 of the Department of Education of Dushanbe.
This assistance was provided in coordination with the Executive Body of the State Authority of Dushanbe and the management of the above-mentioned orphanages and was made available and distributed by the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan through its volunteers.
In total, the provided assistance consists of 330 winter clothes, 600 blankets and 134 electric heaters.
It should be noted that the RCST has provided some assistance to the needy in the country this year. In particular, assistance was provided during the Navruz, Ramadan and Eid al-Adha holidays. This assistance, consisting of food and non-food items, was provided to 10,800 (ten thousand eight hundred) needy people in cities and districts of the Republic of Tajikistan.
