In light of the humanitarian policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, on June 16-17, 2024, on the occasion of the Eid-Al-Adha, the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCST) with the support of charitable organizations of the Republic of Turkey through the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Tajikistan is distributing 8,000 kg of meat to the vulnerable people of Tajikistan.
This humanitarian aid is distributing to the vulnerable people of the cities of Dushanbe, Tursunzoda and Varzob district by the staff and volunteers of RCST.
On June 16, 2024, this humanitarian aid was already distributed to the vulnerable people of the 4 districts of the Dushanbe city from the central warehouse of RCST.
It should be noted that these days the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan, with the support of the Red Crescent Societies of the Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, also provides such humanitarian assistance to the vulnerable people of Kulob, Vahdat, Rudaki, Vose and Rasht.
Besides, it has to be note that with the support of its partners, RCST on the eve of the holy month of Ramazan, distributed food and non-food kits to the most vulnerable sections of the population of Tajikistan.
