Today, October 28, 2019 in the hall of the Hotel “Tavhid” in Khujand with the participation of leaders and staff of the Committee of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan in Sughd, city and district departments of Panjakent, Isfara, Jabbor Rasulov, Devashtich Five-day training seminar for the national disaster response team and emergencies began to work.
The seminar was chaired by the Executive Secretary of the Committee of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan in Sughd region Jabborzoda PA and Parviz Mahmudov, Representative of the German Red Cross in Sughd Region, spoke about the purpose of organizing and conducting this workshop.
The seminar will last until October 31, during which participants will once again be provided with timely and useful information on important topics for RCST staff in the event of natural disasters and emergencies.
On the first day of the seminar, the necessary advice and recommendations were provided on the proper methods and techniques of providing “First Aid” to victims of natural disasters.
It should be noted that the five-day seminar is held under the project “Contribution to capacity building and strengthening the resilience of Red Crescent structures and communities at the local, national and regional levels in selected Central Asian (cross-border) countries” with the support and funding of the German Red Cross
