Purpose and Objectives

The main goal of the RCST is to assist people affected by disasters and those in need, especially during emergencies and crises.

Key objectives include:

  • Assisting victims of natural and technological disasters;

  • Supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged groups;

  • Promoting health and hygiene programs;

  • Encouraging voluntary blood donation;

  • Providing first aid training for the population;

  • Cooperating with government bodies and international organizations.

Structure

The RCST operates throughout the Republic of Tajikistan and has branches in all regions:

  • Sughd Regional Branch

  • Khatlon Regional Branch

  • Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) Branch

  • Dushanbe City and Districts under Republican Subordination Branch

Cooperation

The Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan actively cooperates with international organizations such as:
