Building Volunteer Capacity for Humanitarian Diplomacy

Volunteers are the bridge between communities and humanitarian action. With over 10,000 volunteers across Tajikistan, the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCST) is harnessing this grassroots power to advance humanitarian diplomacy.

Today, we brought together 30 active volunteers for a dedicated session on:

🔹 Understanding the role of volunteers in humanitarian diplomacy

🔹 Learning from the Italian Red Cross on practical engagement models

Humanitarian diplomacy is not just for leaders—it happens every day when volunteers advocate, negotiate, and build trust at the community level.
